I’ve decided that I’m going to blog about my kitchen experiments so here goes.
I have this huge jar of Nutella that I keep digging into but it’s taking forever to finish. Not that I’m complaining. But I thought, there must be something I can make out of nutella and still have some left to dig into with a spoon.
And here’s what I put together.
1/2 cup nutella (grease your spoon and measuring cup so you can measure easily)
3 tbsps sugar.
1/2 cup flour (cos without this the batter is too thin)
Mix all of the ingredients with an electric mixer. (Remember to grease the mixer so that the nutella does not stick to the blades)
Keep it for ten mins in the freezer so that your dough gets firm enough for you to shape.
While the dough is in the freezer, use this time to preheat your oven to180°C.
You can also use this time to get your toppings together if any. Like chopped walnuts or almonds, chocolate chips, whatever you like.
Once your dough is firm, roll them out into balls. Whatever size you like. (My cookies varied in size)
Judge the distance from each cookie ball dough because as it cooks it gets flat and you don’t want them to join.
Bake the cookies for 10-12 mins. Take them out allow it to cool. It will still be gooey to touch.
Once they’re firm, you can enjoy them! Cold or warm, topped with ice cream or whatever you like.
