Every time I got to watch a movie in the theaters I choose to go a few minutes late just to avoid the National Anthem. I’m being honest here, no judging me please. I have no reason to be proud of my country really – it has horrible roads, crazy pollution, too much corruption, just after we got over the Jessica Lal story – with the movie ‘No One Killed Jessica’; coming up next is another Bollywood blockbuster ‘I killed Keenan & Reuben but the government won’t punish me’
Anyhow, when I went to watch a movie at Big Cinemas at R-City Ghatkopar, forgetting about my theory of entering after the National Anthem, here’s what I watched.
I may not be proud of my country but this version of the National Anthem sure brought tears to my eyes. I know I won’t be missing this National Anthem at Big Cinemas.
My second favorite – the one at Fun Cinemas. This one was no tears, just goosebumps with reminder of everything that happens at the border but of course with our government not even close to following suit with the internal workings of the country.
